Glyco Reset Ingredient Analysis: A Line-by-Line Read

Quick answer

Glyco Reset ingredient analysis starts with 22 label lines: chromium at 0.7 mcg and 21 names in one 200 mg proprietary blend. The label prints no amount for any blend name. No study has tested this product. Read each line for what it is, what sources say and what stays unknown.

What does a Glyco Reset ingredient analysis show?

It shows two kinds of line: one with an amount and 21 without. Only chromium has its own figure, 0.7 mcg.

The other 21 names share a 200 mg total. Federal rules for a proprietary blend require the total and the order by weight, not a figure for each name (21 CFR 101.36 (eCFR), Supplement Facts and proprietary blends). So the order tells you the heaviest is first, not by how much.

The label panel below types out every line as printed.

How are the 21 blend names grouped?

They fall into four groups: plant extracts, stimulant plants, amino acids and a licorice compound.

Blend groups
GroupNames on the label
Roots and seedsMaca, African mango, grape seed, astragalus, eleuthero, ginseng
Leaves and fruitsGreen tea, gymnema, cayenne, grapefruit seed, coleus
Caffeine-bearing plantsGuarana (green tea also)
Amino-acid typesL-glutamine, L-tyrosine, L-arginine, beta alanine, GABA, L-tryptophan, L-carnitine
OtherRaspberry ketones, monoammonium glycyrrhizinate

What does the ingredient list not tell you?

It does not tell you any amount per name, any caffeine figure, or any test of the finished drops.

For several names we found no official source at all: grape seed, astragalus, eleuthero, cayenne, grapefruit seed, maca, and the amino acids. For others the research used larger amounts. NIH describes chromium trials at 1,000 mcg a day, about 1,400 times the label's 0.7 mcg, with later results inconsistent (NIH ODS, Chromium fact sheet for professionals). No trial tested this bottle.

The ADA says supplements have not been shown to help people with diabetes, and some can intensify medicine effects (ADA, Vitamins, Minerals, and Supplements (diabetes.org)). Keep taking prescribed medicine. See the proprietary blend page.

Only blood tests diagnose diabetes. A seizure or fainting is an emergency: call 911.

FAQ01

Glyco Reset questions people ask

How many ingredients are in Glyco Reset?

The label names chromium plus 21 blend ingredients, so 22 named items. Only chromium has its own amount. The 21 share a 200 mg total.

Which ingredient in Glyco Reset is first on the list?

Maca root extract is first in the printed order. Under blend rules the order is by weight, but no amounts are printed, so how much it holds is unknown.

Is chromium the main ingredient?

By amount printed, chromium is the only one with a figure, 0.7 mcg. That is 2% of the Daily Value. Whether it is the main active is not something the label settles.

Why do some blend names have no source?

Public health sites cover popular herbs. For several names on this label we found no official page. We say so rather than guess.
