Side effects
Glyco Reset Side Effects: What Sources Report and What to Watch For
Glyco Reset side effects have not been studied, because no trial has tested the drops. Sources on single ingredients report caffeine effects, higher blood pressure with licorice compounds, stomach upset and rare liver injury with green tea extract. Glyco Reset is not FDA approved, and the label amounts of most ingredients are not printed.

The short answer01
What are the side effects of Glyco Reset?
No one knows the side effects of Glyco Reset itself, because no study has tested the drops and the label gives no amount for any blend name. What exists is a set of reports on the single ingredients.
Those reports describe other products, other amounts and other people. They tell you what to watch for. They do not say the drops will cause any of it, and they do not say the drops will not.
Federal rules put the safety and labeling duty on the maker (FDA, Questions and Answers on Dietary Supplements). They do not require a safety trial before sale, and the brand has shown none to us.
Caffeine effects
Green tea and guarana contain caffeine. Jitters, a fast heartbeat and poor sleep are the usual signs.
Blood pressure
Licorice compounds and caffeine are linked to higher blood pressure. Low potassium can follow licorice.
Liver and stomach
Green tea extract has been linked to rare liver injury and to nausea or stomach discomfort.

Which Glyco Reset ingredients have reported side effects?
Six groups of Glyco Reset ingredients have named cautions in the sources we read. For the rest, we found no source.
The table shows what each source says. The label amounts are unknown, so none of these rows is a statement about the bottle.
| Ingredient | What the source reports | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Green tea leaf extract | Nausea, constipation, stomach discomfort, higher blood pressure; rare liver injury, mostly with large extract amounts | (NCCIH, Green Tea) (LiverTox, Green Tea) |
| Guarana seed extract | Nausea and insomnia; at high amounts heartbeat changes, high blood pressure and seizures | (MSK, Guarana (About Herbs)) |
| Monoammonium glycyrrhizinate (licorice compound) | High blood pressure with low potassium; irregular heartbeat with large or long-term use of glycyrrhizin | (MSK, Licorice (About Herbs)) (NCCIH, Licorice Root) |
| Gymnema leaf extract | Effects on blood sugar in lab studies; effectiveness in diabetes not shown | (LiverTox, Gymnema) |
| Coleus forskohlii (forskolin) | May lower blood pressure and change heart rate; safety studies are lacking | (MSK, Forskolin / Coleus forskohlii (About Herbs)) |
| African mango seed extract | Gas, headache, sleep problems; one kidney failure case report | (MSK, Irvingia gabonensis / African mango (About Herbs)) |
| Ginseng root extract | Insomnia; may interfere with clotting; people with diabetes should consult a provider | (NCCIH, Asian Ginseng) |
| Grape seed, astragalus, eleuthero, cayenne, grapefruit seed, maca, amino acids | We found no source | None |
Safety03
Is Glyco Reset safe?
We cannot say Glyco Reset is safe, and we cannot say it is unsafe. No safety test of the product is in what we have, and the label leaves out the caffeine amount and the amount of every blend name.
"Natural" does not mean safe. NCCIH says plant products can cause harm and can interact with medicines (NCCIH, Using Dietary Supplements Wisely). The FDA has found products sold as supplements that held undeclared prescription drugs (FDA, SugarMD Advanced Glucose Support (hidden drugs)). That alert was about one other product. Glyco Reset was not tested, and we make no claim either way.
What helps most is simple. Read the warnings on your own bottle, because warning text is not in what we have. Buy through the order links. Keep the receipt and the lot number.
Daily use04
Is Glyco Reset safe to take daily?
The directions say take one dropper full daily, so daily use is how the drops are meant to be used. We found no source that tests a year of daily use, or one month.
MedlinePlus says up to 400 mg of caffeine a day is generally not harmful for most adults (MedlinePlus, Caffeine). The label does not say how much caffeine a dropper holds, so a person cannot add it up with coffee, tea and energy drinks.
If you drink a lot of caffeine already, count the drops as an unknown extra. Stop and call your pharmacist if sleep, heartbeat or mood changes after you start. Do not take more than one dropper.
Regulation05
Why is Glyco Reset not FDA approved?
Glyco Reset is a dietary supplement, and the FDA does not approve dietary supplements before they are sold (FDA, Questions and Answers on Dietary Supplements).
The front says "Health Supplement*", and the star leads to the statement that the FDA has not evaluated the claims and that the product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Our own phrase for the same idea: it is not a drug.
The brand's image set carries graphics for GMP, an FDA facility and doctor development. The label names no certifier for any of them, so we treat them as graphics, not as FDA approval. See testing and quality for each badge.

Warning signs06
When should you stop Glyco Reset and call a doctor?
Stop and call your doctor for a racing or uneven heartbeat, new swelling, severe headache, yellow skin or eyes, dark urine, or any reaction that worries you.
Call your pharmacist about stomach upset, trouble sleeping or jitters. Severe low blood sugar, fainting or a seizure is an emergency: call 911 (Mayo Clinic, Hypoglycemia).
- See a doctor soonIncreased thirst, frequent urination, unusual tiredness, blurred vision, or repeated shakiness after meals.
- See a doctor the same dayReadings of 70 mg/dL or lower more than once, or low-sugar signs that keep coming back.
- Stop and call your doctorA racing or uneven heartbeat, new swelling, severe headache, yellow skin or eyes, or dark urine after starting any supplement.
- Emergency room or 911Fainting, a seizure, severe confusion, trouble breathing, or low blood sugar that does not come up after treatment.
Signs drawn from public health and clinic sources (Mayo Clinic, Hypoglycemia) (MedlinePlus, Low blood sugar) (LiverTox, Green Tea). This list is not complete, and a supplement is never a reason to wait.
Never stop, skip or lower a prescribed diabetes medicine because of a supplement. Tell your doctor and pharmacist about every supplement you use (MedlinePlus, Metformin).
Low blood sugar07
Can Glyco Reset cause low blood sugar?
No source says Glyco Reset causes low blood sugar, and none says it cannot. People on diabetes medicine have the most to watch for.
Low blood sugar is 70 mg/dL or lower. Early signs are shakiness, sweating, fast heartbeat and hunger, and confusion can follow (Mayo Clinic, Hypoglycemia). The American Diabetes Association says some supplement ingredients could intensify diabetes medicine effects (ADA, Vitamins, Minerals, and Supplements (diabetes.org)).
If you take diabetes medicine, read the medicine check before the first dropper. If you notice low-sugar signs, treat them as your doctor taught you and report them.
FAQ08
Questions about Glyco Reset safety and side effects
Does Glyco Reset cause headaches or jitters?
Possibly, but no study of the drops exists. Green tea and guarana carry caffeine, and sources list jitters, headache and sleep trouble among caffeine effects. The label prints no caffeine amount. If you notice these, stop and call your pharmacist.
Does Glyco Reset cause stomach upset?
Sources list nausea and stomach discomfort for green tea extract and some plant extracts in the blend. No study tests the drops. Dropper volume and the liquid base are not printed in what we have. Stop and call your pharmacist if it persists.
Can Glyco Reset raise blood pressure?
The ingredient sources say that is possible, though no study tests the drops. Licorice compounds, guarana and green tea extract are each linked to higher blood pressure. The label gives no amounts. If you have high blood pressure or take blood pressure medicine, ask a doctor before the first dropper.
Can Glyco Reset hurt the liver?
Green tea extract has been linked to liver injury in case reports, mostly at much larger amounts than a 200 mg shared blend could hold. No source tests the drops. Yellow skin or eyes and dark urine are reasons to stop and call a doctor.
Are there long-term side effects of Glyco Reset?
Unknown. We found no study of long-term use of the drops or the blend. Licorice sources note that effects tend to build with long-term use. Keep your regular checkups and tell your doctor about the supplement.
Has the FDA warned about Glyco Reset?
We found no FDA warning naming Glyco Reset. The FDA has warned about other blood sugar products, including one with undeclared drugs, so check the bottle and buy through the order links. Absence of a warning is not proof of safety.
